2019 Prom Dress Giveaway!

It’s a wrap on our 2019 Prom Dress Giveaway! It was a huge success. We gave away close to 800 dresses, accessories, and shoes over a 2 day period. As you can see from the photos, there were a lot of smiles going around! Our partnership with Detroit Public Schools brought teens together from all over the Detroit area to ‘shop’ for the prom dress of their dreams. With the help of our volunteer stylists, they also picked out shoes and accessories to go with their look. Most walked the ‘red carpet’ showing off their inner and outer confidence before heading to checkout. Each student got a phone pocket courtesy of Gaco Sourcing as well as the chance to win raffle items donated by local artist, Julie Chernow, jewelry by My House of Style, and Pistons tickets, donated by Redico. We are so grateful to our team of volunteers, Neil Morrison, Amy Dewys, Nechole Drake, Jerry Paniky, and everyone else who made the event successful!
